About

Some events transcend planning. Some weekends remind you exactly why this work matters.

Asmita and Moiz's celebration was one of the most meaningful weekends in Back to Bash's history, and a deeply personal full circle moment for our founder. Asmita is the sister of Lilly, a cherished high school friend whose light we lost in 2020. To be entrusted with honoring this family, in one of their most joyful and sacred moments, was a privilege beyond words.

The weekend began at the family's home with an intimate Pooja, a sacred and auspicious start to the journey ahead. The morning was spent surrounded by the warmth of the bride's mother and sisters, getting ready together in the home that holds so many of their family's most treasured memories. At the heart of the space stood a memorial tree adorned entirely in white lilies: a quiet, beautiful tribute to Lilly, whose presence was felt throughout the weekend.

The Engagement Party that followed brought together 300 guests at the Omni Atlanta in a breathtaking celebration of two cultures: Hindu and Afghani, woven together with intention and love. Afghani traditions, spectacular performances by the couple's loved ones, and the undeniable energy of two families becoming one filled the room with a joy that was hard-earned and deeply felt.

Utopian Events' stunning decor brought both spaces to life beautifully, and Something Borrowed Studios captured every precious moment across the weekend with heart and artistry.

This one was heavy and beautiful in equal measure. We wouldn't have had it any other way.
